As a former Republican, having been raised in Texas attending Phil Gramm rallies as a child, it still continues to amaze me that so many people on either side of the party line still make their decisions about politicians based primarily on the party to which they belong. I truly hope that regardless of my age (currently 35) I will fight against ever becoming a lemming or sheep or worse surrendering my right as a woman to make educated decisions based upon correct information not arbitrary party loyalty or emotions. McCain’s decision to choose Palin is an obtuse one at best. McCain still has my appreciation and respect for the service he gave our country, but he has absolutely lost my vote.

What is Obama? The answer? The Antichrist? The messenger or the message? A man who advocates for the middle class? A man who actually appeals to both the minorities and white working class? Is he Saul Alinsky’s alter ego? The one who can organize and unite a majority of diverse cultures and economic strata? Are those diverse classes better off with him or without him?
Obama is cultured, intelligent and Ivy League Educated. A Kennedy without the baggage of inherited wealth. He is the first person of color who has communicated effectively with the white middle class. He is product of self made achievement; not in the business circles; not in the legal arena; but in the arena that affects more Americans on a national scale than either of those…….. politics.
Obama is truly larger than life. Is he more than a man? Is he a symbol? Is he the messenger? What exactly is the message? Is he the “Word” of the “movement” that has been stirring in this country for decades? Does he offers “tax cuts”, or tax subsidies beyond what is payable in taxes? Can he actually offer free and nationalized medical? It is hard for the average person to disagree with these goals in principal because the national effect is too abstract and hard to define. He stays within the personal experience of most Americans. Concrete promises. Does attainability matter? Do economics matter? If the promise is the means and the end product is to benefit the oppressed and those who have not had a real voice in this country for decades or centuries, then a little abstractness of effect is meaningless as long as the end is achieved. Who would rail against the “Word”. He just wants to help the needy, right?
Could it be that Obama advocates what some characterize as a redistribution of wealth on a scale more massive than the “Great Society” of President Johnson? (whose carcasses are still visible in many large cities and certainly in the welfare society and its socialist agenda still promulgated in the class warfare spewed by its supporters) Could it be that he is trying to be the champion for the “have nots” who want what the “haves” have. We all want that. What do we all work so hard for? The issue is one of scale of achievement versus the scale of distribution. Do you want the government’s fingers in your hard-earned “piece of the pie” ,so it can disperse it to whomever was promised the most during the campaign? Government budgeting….it’s almost an oxymoron!!! I’d say it’s time for a collective pie in the face from our citizens.
Promises of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness relate to opportunity. If that opportunity is supported by individual achievement and subsequent success, that is the American dream. If that opportunity is supported by mass redistribution of educational opportunity distributed on the basis of “lack of wealth” as defined by the politician or future ruling class, that is something entirely different. Achievement and hard work and financial success are then rewarded with the penalty of having to pay more for the same education that others get for free. Not based upon objective standards of merit, but upon class designations designed to reverse class roles over time. It was Martin Luther King that advocated advancement through merit and man not being judged by the color of his skin. What kind of people would pervert his ideas and his specific intent to foster a national “affirmative action” that will touch every facet of our lives and that of our children.
Religion is only legitimate if it is the civil religion of secularism. Mussolini understood the importance of the secular society when he minimized the power of the Catholic Church. Our country was founded on religious freedom , not freedom from any religious influence. Search your own souls and ask what societies have cast out religion for the good of the “state” under the guise of benefiting the community. What societies put the needs of the community above that of the individual?
We need only look east of us. It wasn’t that long ago.
What does Obama represent? Does he represent the movement that will establish a community with no wealthy class of merit, no wealthy class of inheritance and no incentive to achieve individual goals through sacrifice? Will achievement be standardized through political correctness of act and deed and thought. It has been and will continue to be taught to our children. Will global responsibility for every real or perceived ill in the world bind our children to third world status? Will the community for which we work and sacrifice our individual rights in turn be regionalized and globalized?
Is this possible? Can this be the real message? Read. Read what Obama studied. Read about the man about whom Hillary Clinton wrote a thesis at Weslayen. Read about Saul Alinsky. Read about the progressive movement in Europe and even in this country. Its tenets has become undisguised over the last decade.
Read what Obama’s now former church advocates in their own website.
http://www.tucc.org/about.htm
1. Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:
1. Commitment to God
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.
The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:
1. A congregation committed to ADORATION.
2. A congregation preaching SALVATION.
3. A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
4. A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
5. A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
6. A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.
7. A congregation committed to the HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF AFRICAN PEOPLE IN DIASPORA.
8. A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
9. A congregation committed to RESTORATION.
10. A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY.
How does the church define Middleclassness?
Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”
“Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must keep the captive ignorant educationally, but trained sufficiently well to serve the system.”
The mission of the church is also clearly stated.
Trinity United Church of Christ has been called by God to be a congregation that is not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and that does not apologize for its African roots! As a congregation of baptized believers, we are called to be agents of liberation not only for the oppressed, but for all of God’s family. We, as a church family, acknowledge, that we will, building on this affirmation of “who we are” and “whose we are,” call men, women, boys and girls to the liberating love of Jesus Christ, inviting them to become a part of the church universal, responding to Jesus’ command that we go into all the world and make disciples!
We are called out to be “a chosen people” that pays no attention to socio-economic or educational backgrounds. We are made up of the highly educated and the uneducated. Our congregation is a combination of the haves and the have-nots; the economically disadvantaged, the under-class, the unemployed and the employable.
The fortunate who are among us combine forces with the less fortunate to become agents of change for God who is not pleased with America’s economic mal-distribution!
W.E.B. DuBois indicated that the problem in the 20th century was going to be the problem of the color line. He was absolutely correct. Our job as servants of God is to address that problem and eradicate it in the name of Him who came for the whole world by calling all men, women, boys and girls to Christ.
Obama could not have been ignorant of his former church’s teachings, nor the philosophy of his mentors. He lives it, he preaches it, he is the disciple of the movement that promulgates the philosophy.
Is this what America Wants? Is this what you want?
This is straight out of Saul Alinsky’s book on Rules for Radicals. The job of the Have nots is to take from the Haves.
Is that what America wants? Is that what you want?
VOTE IN NOVEMBER.
THIS COULD BE THE MOST FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE IN AMERICAN SOCIETY SINCE THE REVOLUTION. DO YOU W ANT THAT CHANGE.

OBAMA = BETRAYAL
Obama supporters are foolish to think that he will never betray them.
Obama was a close friend of Pastor Wright for TWENTY YEARS.
Obama threw Wright under the bus for personal ambition.
McCain would not betray his country even after 5 years of torture.
You can put lipstick on a traitor, but he’s still a traitor.
