Creepy Obamessiah Cult’s New Poster
If Jim Jones had a symbol, it would probably look something like this

“Our goal is to see a crowd of 75,000 people at Obama’s nomination speech holding their hands above their heads, fingers laced together in support of a new direction for this country, a renewed hope, and acceptance of responsibility for our future,” says Rick Husong
Yes, true cult status
Much thought went into the relatively simple idea. “You interlace your hands in a circle, the interlacing being a symbol of different types of people coming together and the circle a symbol of unity,” he says. Their design, unlike Fairey’s, is free, and Husong is urging people to download it and print it on posters and T-shirts. “We want to see it everywhere, but more importantly we want this sign to take the world by storm.”
How ’bout this one?

Sadly, No! has the same sad “we don’t get it” reaction. Reality Based Community. Snicker.

So let me see if I get this straight…
A logo not put out by the Obama campaign but rather a suggestion by an ad agency not associated with the Obama campaign, is somehow indicative of the mentality of said Obama campaign and is therefore open game to all kinds of juvenile remarks by the right-wingers. And Sadly, No! is the one out of touch with reality…
By the way, Gary: That must have been quite the struggle putting that response together, and yet you still managed to misspell “lose.” Nice irony with the “stupid”…
